Pre-production Planning by Ghislaine - Lighting

To create the shadow of the killer on the steps we will be using borrowed lighting equipment. For all the other shots we will either be using normal house lights or the natural day light, aswell as borrowed lighting equipment.

  1. Indoor shooting, you are likely to need to use borrowed light so book out the lights. If you are shooting into large expanses of glass in windows, chances are you will get sihouette effects - overcome thios by compensating with additional front lighting. This is one of the most common errors where students assume house lighting will be enough.
